Allow your boss take credit for your ideas, but when you're the boss, give your subordinates credit for your own ideas.
Chances are that your boss doesn't take credit for your ideas nearly as often as you think he does. If it's really a big problem, it may be time for a career move rather than letting your pride burn bridges between you and your boss.
Meanwhile, always give more credit to others than you think they deserve. Many of your best ideas were actually inspired by an offhand comment by another or a bad idea someone else had that inspired you to think of a better way. Or even they just do work which give you time to come up with the idea. Give these credit for inspiring or even coming up with the idea. You couldn't have come up with the idea without them.
