If you find yourself in awe, you are engaged in worship.
(HT: Unknown)
Atheists, agnostics, humanists, etc. may pretend they worship nothing. Regardless of what you believe, you will, at some point, see a mountain, an ocean, a newborn baby, the milky way or something that makes you feel a sense of overwhelming awe. That reverence you feel in that moment is an expression of worship reaching right out from your soul, which was designed for the purpose of engaging in worship. You may direct that worshipful feeling at something other than God, but you are, in that moment, definitely engaged in worship.
